I read about this video a few months back about a lady who missed her flight & threw a mad tantrum at the Hong Kong Int'l Airport. I didn't know how extreme it was though. I was laughing but quite shocked at her behaviour when I was watching...

Glow In The Dark
Today my mood is blegh.
I was looking through my Youtube favourites & I found this song I discovered at the beginning of the year: Glow in the Dark. It reminded me how fast time flies. It seemed just like yesterday that I was starting Form 4. Now it's more than half past 2009. Damn.
3rd Term Tests start on August 20. I hope I don't fail Add Maths. I haven't even started tuitions for it yet since school started. I hate that subject. Sarr is so lucky that she gets to drop it. I feel useless all thanks to that subject. I really don't wanna go for any tuition. They're so tiring. But what choice do I have? Sighs.
I watched the new season of Las Vegas today. For the first time in 2 weeks? And I don't even get to watch that show so often. I LOVE IT! I loved it the first time I saw it. It's something for guys but not too gory or serious like all the other crime/detective dramas. It's something light and enjoyable which is what TV should be. Not to mention the hot babes. Grrr... If only I had the cha-ching to buy series on DVD like everyone else does, I would be a happy boy =D So that I don't have to wait every week to watch a 1-hour episode. And sometimes I don't even get to watch it because I either have something else to do or someone else is hogging the TV :(

After that, I watched The City. It's a new spinoff of The Hills. In the latter, the main star is Lauren Conrad while in the former, the main star is Whitney Port, who was Lauren's bestie in The Hills. It's not something that guys usually watch but something about the series appeals to me. Another thing that appeals to me as well is their lifestyle. The cast are living out how I wanna live when I'm older. Work hard & play hard - in a fashionable & classy city. Ahhh.... The Life.

Yeaaaaahhh.
Peace out.

Love In This Club
Hmm... Even if that song was so 2008, I still love it. Gaaahhh!! Swine flu! It's getting worse. Don't mind the no-school part of it but then none of my mates are allowed out at the mo'. Sucks because I actually am. I need to find myself some new people to hang with. Haha. Jokes. But this quarantine thing is definitely NO JOKE. Might as well lock us up in Tutong hospital together. Then at least we get to hang out. My recital rehearsals are tomorrow. It sucks because I still sound like a clucking chicken singing "Fall For You". The song is just too damn high for me. I'll probably make a fool of myself in front of all of 'em great musicians.

ET in the Sewers
Look at what could be living under us in the sewers! Extraterrestrial life form!! I'll never look at a Spaghetti Meatball the same way ever again!
Rocky Road
"Omigod". Hahaha... We were teasing Hanson about it just now because he says "Omigod" in such a Brit way everytime something happens... "Omagattt!" HAHAHA!!
Everyone seems to be out now. I wanna go out too. I wanna end the hols with a BANG! But anyways, this is still the best June hols I've ever had in YEARS!!!
The worst part is that I have to sing at the Rhythmic Arts recital this Sunday. Can you believe it?! Me? SINGIN'?! I never thought I'd be singing in public in a million years. But I'm forced to believe it because I been attending rehearsals every single day now till Sunday. I'm so messed up yet happy for some reason. I'm weird.

The King

Today, at 10.17 a.m. as my driver was taking me to piano lessons, she told me that she heard about Michael Jackson's death on Chinese radio. I thought she was out of her mind, like she didn't know what she was saying. I mean what would she know about him? She barely listened to English music. Who'd know if it was just some mistranslated crap ae? But when I got to my music school, my denial was just that - denial. My teachers confirmed that Michael Jackson DID pass. I didn't know what to say or feel. Words failed me. Just like Lisa Marie Presley.
"I am so very sad and confused with every emotion possible," Lisa Marie tells ET. "I am heartbroken for his children who I know were everything to him and for his family. This is such a massive loss on so many levels, words fail me."
"I am so very sad and confused with every emotion possible," Lisa Marie tells ET. "I am heartbroken for his children who I know were everything to him and for his family. This is such a massive loss on so many levels, words fail me."

Memories of Michael began to flood my mind. Besides seeing him in the media, I had seen him on one special occassion at Jerudong Park when I was 4 or 5. He had a mega-concert free for all Bruneians!! We must've been the luckiest country in concert history!! Imagine... A free concert from the King of Pop! People screamed & cried when he appeared onstage. Everyone shoved to get a closer view of the superstar. I remember seeing him perform his world-famous dance moves. He was singing "The Way You Make Me Feel". That song brings back nostalgia from my childhood till this very day. Then, I finally understood what set MJ apart from everyone else. He had an aura that made you feel happy, emotional, ecstatic, electric, dynamic. A barrage of emotions rolled into your body all at once. It was like getting high without the drugs or booze. To put it simply, Michael Jackson had IT.

Michael Jackson (1958-2009): You entertained millions & inspired many more. You will forever be remembered as a man of great passion & generosity. You will never be forgotten. God bless you. May your soul rest in peace. We'll miss you, Michael.

Permanent
Damn. I love this song by David Cook right now. The meaning & everything is so heartfelt. It just tells us that we have to cherish everything good we've got at the mo' because you never know when all this good will be taken away from you. Hence, nothing is permanent.
"As the days are slipping past, the good times never last..."
Dishes
I got up at 08 15 today. Watched TV for a bit. There was a really cool movie on called "Soul Man" on Star Movies. It's about a white man who pretends to be black to get a scholarship to Harvard. I swear, the lead actor, C. Thomas Powell, looks just like Gerald Anderson! From the eyebrows to the grin & everything...
After that, I had breakfast. Ooo yea... We just ran out of Sehat water. Gonna have to tell my mom about that. Then I did the dishes for the first time in weeks... I'm sooooo proud of myself!! Somehow, helping around the house gives me a really warm feeling inside. Like when I wanna puke. Lol. JOKES!

Peace out.

Dedicated to Me

Dad didn't come to KB today. Maybe tomorrow. He must be busy or something up in Bandar.
Debbie still owes me "CentreStage 2". I really wanna watch that "Swing Baby Swing" thing she's been on about. I been practising "Bohemian Rhapsody" since it's the 2nd choice for a song. I hope she agrees to that one because I think it's a better option than "Slow Ride". You need hella good vocals for the latter whereas the former can be sung as long as there's theatrics :)
Peace out.
Bum-Bum-Bi-Dam-Bum-Bum-Bi-Dam-Dam
Went out early today. I went to school to have early rehearsals for the Sultan's birthday celebrations. There was only one other student there. GAYMOND!!! Freaky. Anyways, the rehearsal was good. We're gonna do a traditional Chinese dance complete with coloured fans. Its harder than it looks. We have to do this flower formation & a waaaveeee. The choreographer loved how I was so "graceful" yet I didn't look gay. Unlike some people. *Coughs*
She asked if I did ballet. HAHAHAHA!!! After that, I had lunch at the foodstalls next to my school. I had some good ol' Chicken Rice. I just realized that I hadn't had Chicken Rice in agessss. I missed the old Chicken Rice Restaurant at Jln. Pretty. They used to be the best but they sucked after changing management. Then we went to St. John's to see my mom's mate & her kid. Guess who I saw? Best Boy Lion King!! Hahaha... That guy's missable. I wish he was my bro so I could hangout with him everyday. But maybe I'd just get sick of him the way siblings always do. lol. It was the first time I went in St. John's. It reminded me of government schools in Manila. Maybe that's why so many Filipinos study there. Because it reminds them of home...
I just finished Breaking Dawn. The best. But now I got nothing to read :(

My exams are over & I need a good thick book to read. I miss Selinaaaaaa & Jesssssss. Last night, I had my 15th birthday dinner at Excapade & those 2 were the ones missing in action. It woulda been perfect if they were there to celebrate with me. I love all my friendsss. They put me on top of the world. I'm in a lovey-dovey mood today. Haha. Exams are officially over!! BOO-YAHH!! But Terror Part 2 begins next week - The Results.
This pic was taken on a random staircase. I just realized that I have a lot of pics at Excapade & random staircases. Especially on Facebook. lol.

The End of the Line
This season of American Idol was the BESTEST EVERRR!! The whole Top 5 was unique in their own special ways which was AWESOME!! This performance nearly brought me to tears because I witnessed all their individual journeys & this was like their graduation performance, y'know. Adam Lambert stole the stage in this performance. AMAZING!!!
"Look at All the Fatty in de Water!"
HAHAHA!! Baby -JJJ- can be the craziest shtick sometimes. I remember a video she posted on Facebook where she was screaming & giggling like someone was poking her down there if you know what I mean ^^
Next week is the 2nd week of exam week. ARRRGGHHH!! And on Monday, I've got my MOST DESPISED subjects - A. Maths & Chemistry!!! *Cue horror music*
I'll write till there for tonight. I'll leave a message for A-Man & Meet-a-panty though:
YOU SPIN MY HEAD RIGHT ROUND, RIGHT ROUND!!!

I totally love the instrumental soundtrack theme from Autumn In My Heart - "The Reason. I fell for the mesmerizing melody & I'm learning how to play it on the piano now. I have so gotta revise for my Physics & PoA exams tomorrow. I didn't even get to eat the Cadbury Dream I was planning on downing while I was watching the American Idol finale. Even though Adam didn't win, I'm still ecstatic. I know for sure he'll record an album & become an ICON, not just a superstar but an ICON, one day... The finale was AWESOME. Season 8 was the BEST ever. Everyone was unique in their own way. It's the first time that ALL the contestants in the Top 5 were genuinely AMAZING. The finale was soooo DAMN good that it brought me to tears. What a night!

Ungu
I was thinking about great dramas and I remembered Oprah's "The Colour Purple" all of a sudden. Random. I know. Anyways, yesterday was an oh-so-tiring day; went up to Seria at around 9 a.m. to check out this lady who taught Spanish. I've decided that languages are my assets since I can speak 4 so I'm set on learning as much as I can. I'm hoping to take up a course in foreign studies & maybe become an ambassador one day. A bit ambitious but yea... My other choice is to become a geologist & since they travel a lot, languages will come in handy as well. After that, I went for my piano lessons. Teacher Mark let me play anything I wanted so I chose to study "Reason" - one of my favourite OSTs of all time from "Autumn In My Heart". Tutored my student after lunch then I went straight to tennis. I been improving in tennis quite a bit. Last week, I won all my games against my opponents & the same goes for this week. I hope these improvements continue :)
Tonight was my last night of fun before exams. Damn exams. I hate studying. I'm too tired so I'll just post pictures.

It's Official

Had school today. School was cooool today. Not much studying done. Mainly because exams are in 5 days' time. That's NOT cool. The class was pretty clean when I came in. It felt goooood since I'm in charge of cleanliness. Lame. Physics was aiight. I love Physics. Bio was also gooood. I despise Chem & A Maths.
YEAYA!! I might go out for dinner with some mates laterrrrr... Hopefully...
Peace.

Today is Mother's Day! Holla to all the sexy mommas out there! Let's talk about what I ate today. I woke up & ate some "pancit" - traditional Filipino glass noodle dish (Mummy's treat). Then for lunch I had some leftover baked spaghetti. Just because it was leftovers doesn't mean it sucked though. It was deeelish! Dad brought home some of the birthday cake that he had at his office birthday party yesterday. It was a chocolate moist cake covered in rainbow fondant. He bought it from one of his friends who had a blog where she sold cakes called "http://tasteontray.blogspot.com". The cake was nice & the fondant was chewy-good but it left an aftertaste which was too sweet for me. It tasted like candy. Maybe it was because of the rainbow flavour? I don't really know.
Yesterday was a pretty gooood day. It was a long one too. I left the house at 3 p.m. to meet Hannah & Jess at Panaga. Jess is leavin' on Monday for Cyprus by the way. I'm devastated. Anyways, I met up with 'em. She was a bit different yesterday though. I can't explain it.
Me: I'm sad that you're leavin' love.
Jess: Ugh. I've got no more feelings about leaving Brunei.
Me: So you're happy you're leaving?
Jess: No. I just don't have any emotions anymore. I cried away all my tears last week. I'm not sad. I'm not happy. I'm not angry. I've just got no feelings. It doesn't even feel like I'm leaving. I wasn't even born here anyways.
I dunno but I think she was tryna hide her feelings about leaving. I know how much she loved Brunei. She must be REALLY sad. Or maybe not. I'll never know.
After meeting the girls, I watched the Royal Academy of Dance Fest on the beach. It was boringgg. Panaga Dance Centre is the best in ballet school in Brunei though. There were some fun moments though like the swimming dance. After that, I went with Victoria to Anna's beach bash. I only knew like a handful of people. It was a gooooood party though. I danced the night away =D

"Our lives are not determined by what happens to us, but by how we react to what happens;
Not by what life brings us, but by the attitude we bring to life."
I didn't do anything interesting since blogging in the afternoon. I played Mafia Wars. The Facebook game everyone's been playing lately, even the teachers at my school! I tried making money by doing jobs & buying properties. I don't get what's so fun about it though. At least I can understand the game I guess. I haven't seen Jess for 3 months & she's leaving on Monday. I only MIGHT see her on Saturday. I'm sad.
Peace.

Snug
Woke up at probably 5.15 today but I only got up at my usual time which is 6 a.m. I guess I was too excited about my lunch with One & Only.
Ya know, I've been thinking a lot lately. Where do you think Cyprus is? At first, I thought Cyprus was in Europe near France. It sounded like a fruit too.
I was supposed to have lunch with One & Only. See, everytime I'm too excited about something, the something doesn't happen. Ugh. I've got Add Maths tuition later. I feel like my head's not taking anything in... And my exams are in 13 days! I seriously get bored with the subject. St. John's doesn't need Add Maths in the Science stream. WHY DO I?!

#101
POST #101!!!
I finally went out today. I had lunch with Ryan, Sarr, Qilah & Mizan at Excapade. I had so much fun because it was just us friends & I got to be random & crazy like I love to. And I got to dress up which was fun. Hahaha. I told 3 funny stories. That was cool. I am SUPER-energized and pumped to the MAX! I had a haircut. The bird's nest is now manicured grass. I went back to Excapade for dinner with the family this time. Talk about bloated. And to top off the day, I had a wonderful chat with Jess.

I love Jen Aniston. She's the ultimate girl-next-door. And her hair is oh-so-perfect. I love ladies with great hair.
Adam Lambert is my vote for American Idol. He's so creative in the way he arranges his songs. Not to mention the power in his voice!
He's just shown that he can do upbeat tracks & slow it down too. Indescribable.
Saturday, March 21, 2009
I just got up. It's 8 a.m. I have woken up earlier than I wished once again. I woke up with a sore-ish throat & now my nose is runny. I hope I don't get sick during the hols. I wanna get sick when school starts though :) Hmm..... What should I do today? I dunno if I have HipHop today. I might just go anyways & see if the girls are there. Didn't get to hang with Hannah yesterday. Felt kinda bad for leaving her hanging. At least she had Dom to keep her company. I really wanna get to know that dude. He seems kinda cool... In a lil' bro way. Hahaha... I miss Selina & all the funstuff that happened last year. I miss 2008!

Hawaiian Macadamia Nuts

I'm addicted to Mauna Loa Hawaiian Macadamia Nuts. My uncles & aunts from Honolulu just gave a box to my mom when they met in Maniluh. They got caramel in 'em too! My all-time fav flava! It's heaven :)
Let's be a bit scientific & educational today. Here's some info I found on Macadamia nuts & chocolates:
if you are eating a diet that is relatively high in fat, you should definitely be eating macadamia nuts as a part of this diet. Macadamia nuts contain powerful antioxidants and vitamins that can aid in the fight against cancer and heart disease. They are also high in minerals that should definitely be a part of your healthy diet. While you may think that this would be great if these nuts were not so high in things that are bad for your health as well, you will be happy to know that unsalted macadamia nuts contain no cholesterol, plus they are also low in both sodium and saturated fats. Therefore, eating one ounce, approximately eleven macadamia nuts, is a good thing to do for your health each day. In this small serving of macadamia nuts you will also be enjoying two grams of protein.
That's interesting. lol.
I had a boring day today. Well, not technically very boring, but I didn't do anything fun either. Had piano lessons, tennis lessons. Was supposed to go out with A but then it got cancelled again because K couldn't come down to KB. I didn't take my report sheet yesterday because I couldn't bare to see my results. I got 66 in D MATHS! And 56 in A Maths! I take tuition for that for crying out loud!
UGGGGHHH!!!

FINALLY!
I FINALLY did so many things I've been wanting to do. I been wanting to wake up late for a couple of weeks now because I always been waking up early, as in 7 o' clock! I woke up at 9.40 a.m. today & it felt so good. I also FINALLY went for a really good serious work-out jog yesterday. I been wanting to do that since December but all the jogs I went on since then only needed short bursts of energy.
I'm stuck in the house for 3 days because my mom's in S'pore & I've got no pick-up for the late nights. I'm waiting on A again to gimme the green light for lunch outside. He's waiting for K to get up or something. lol.
Flash Bulbs
First Term of Form 4 is coming to an end. It has not been good. My best subject is PoA. I got 100%. I was so lost at first because I didn't have a book. I ended up having to photocopy the whole stupid 4th edition PoA. Why the hell do they have a 5th edition when only a few schools are even using it?! Classes are chaos, especially for Chemistry, because nobody wants to listen to Dr. Pant's droning. Her voice seriously only has one tone. It's like she's prescribing antibiotics & panadol to us at the hospital. I should refer her to the Rhythmic Arts voice teacher. There are so many people in the Science class that we had to move to a bigger classroom. But hey ho! I'm a Junior now! Kinda scary though... Time flies sooo fast...
And..... No scary teachers this year!! Hooray!
Now, I leave. Exit B.
Peace out.

First Term Tests
I'm so anxious about my first term test results. I wish I'd studied Chinese more. If I'd known that PoA was gonna be so easy, I'd have studied Chinese more. (I had PoA & Chinese on the same day). AIYOO!!

The Circle of Life
Today was the last day of First Term Tests. But they seriously felt like exams. I guess it's because our fate depends on it. Whether we stay in Science or otherwise. I really do hope I don't get transferred. PLEASE!!!
I went out at 4.20 to get to the beach for Sunset Silhouettes. The show was great but last year's was better because there were more dancers & longer performances. But the arrangement if performances this year was pretty good too. The people who deserved to be in the spotlight were. lol. I loved the teenage guy's performance though. This year's was much better than last year's because there were more guys & the dance was longer. The song was cooler too. If I were given a choice to perform in the past or present, I'd definitely had chosen today :)
After the show, I stayed back to have dinner with the guys. I haven't eaten out or hung out with them in a looong time... I ate Sweet & Sour Fish a la Panaga... I been craving that for ages.
One & only was in the crowd just now, showing some support. Sometimes, she can be so irritating but when she's great, she's amazing! Doesn't make sense but yea...
And to end the day perfectly, there were not one but TWO full RAINBOWS! Delightful!
:)
Peace.

Para Iso
I have the first general rehearsal for Sunset Silhouettes tomorrow. Everyone's gonna be watching. Mr. Robert, NewSkool Crew AND the ballerinas!! Gah! I'm so frustrated with my rapidly-multiplying white hair. I hate the bird's nest on my head.
Some pictures from Ryan =D

That guy sure knows how to put a smile on my face :D

What Is It Like to "Croak"?
I just read this amazing book. It's called "Ways to Live Forever". Dr. Chua, of all people, lent it to me. Who knew he appreciated emotional stories? Hahaha!!
It's about this kid, Sam, who wants to know about UFOs and horror movies and ghosts and scientists, and how it feels like to kiss a girl. He also needs answers to questions nobody will answer.....
It's the one of the most subtly moving stories you'll ever read. It'll inspire you to make good use of the time you're given on Earth. When I got to the end, I shed a tear or two. You really must put yourself in Sam's shoes to "experience" the story.
