I just remembered this book I read by Roald Dahl entitled "Going Solo". It just popped into my head while I was chatting on MSN. Talk about random. Haha. I'll tell you about the book anyways.
It's sorta a self-autobiograpy. It's the sequel to "Boy" also by Roald Dahl. The difference is, "Boy" is about Roald's childhood years while "Going Solo" is about Roald's life in the army during the war. It's an easy read for guys. There's a funny part in the beginning about Roald's first morning on his navy ship.
Who knew a children's books writer could have such an action-packed life ae? I usually picture them just sitting in a quiet corner of their house writing their lives awaaayy.....

It's a boring post I know.
